Is Mould a Health Risk?

Tenants can often become very anxious when mould is present in the home as spores can prove to be a serious health risk.

They produce allergens and when inhaled or touched they can provoke reactions ranging from coughing, sneezing, irritation to the eyes, skin and difficulty breathing.

Mould can therefore be a serious risk to people that suffer from allergies and respiratory conditions.

According to the World Health Organisation, people are 40% more likely to have asthma when living in damp or mouldy conditions.

To address any potential health concerns, we perform air quality testing and discuss the test results with tenants to give them reassurance that their home environment is safe.

In the event that there is a risk to the wellbeing of the tenants, we will contact you immediately and raise a warning report

with our recommendations.

Protecting your Tenants

We work with housing associations and local authorities, so are often in the homes of vulnerable people who have experienced trauma, poverty, isolation, abuse, injury and mental health problems.

It is with this in mind that our staff are always courteous, patient, understanding and respectful of the tenants home environment and family.  We pride ourselves on protecting the tenants possessions when we work, leaving the property in clean and tidy order. We can accommodate visits where a lady is requested or two people are required to attend, and are accustomed to dealing with tenant complaints which we handle with professional decorum.

We treat all tenant personal information as confidential, and all of our staff are DBS checked.
